Episode 252: Payable On Death by P.O.D.

This week on the Roach Koach Podcast we check in on a band we have not done in years(!), P.O.D., and their followup to Satellite, 2003’s Payable On Death. As we’ve discussed on the show in the past, 2003 was a tough time for many Nu-Metal kings. Did P.O.D. manage to avert the fall? Jenny, Lorin and Matt discuss this along with with the P.O.D. documentary on the making of the album, the addition of guitarist Jason Truby, and the guitar stylings of one Phil Keaggy.

After that it’s Chimaira time(16:15), where pits are activated, Jenny and Matt make up lyrics for a song that doesn’t have any, the debut of Very Cantrell, and Canon Talk, where the decision is made on whether Chimaira still have what it takes to enter the Nu-Metal Canon.
