Episode 137: Welcome by Taproot (Live at Snow Day 2019)

This week’s Roach Koach was recorded live from the Snow Day 2019 26 Hour Improv Marathon at Go Comedy Improv Theater in Ferndale MI. While enjoying a Nu-Metal Brunch, Jenny, Lorin, and Matt discuss the shots fired at Limp Bizkit on NBC’s The Good Place and then dive into the album of the week, Welcome by Taproot. They discuss the look of the band, what it means to be “taprooted”, discuss comments from Songmeanings dot com, ask “Is this art?”, delve into the origins of the Alice In Chains sound, decide of Fred Durst’s voicemail to Taproot deserves to be in the Nu-Metal Junk Drawer and decide if Taproot needs to be in the Nu-Metal Canon.
